The southernmost end of U.S. Route 1, also called the Overseas Highway, is a modern feat of engineering. It runs over the entirety of the Florida Keys, from Miami to Key West, hopping over islands and reefs with 42 overseas bridges over 113 miles of road. On the way to Key West from Prairieville, you’ll pass through a number of great mini-vacation spots, including Gulfport, Biloxi, and Miami, and you’ll pass nearby state and national parks.

Hot Springs National Park – Arkansas
Nestled in the Ouachita mountains, Hot Springs, AR has been a famous destination for over 100 years. Its namesake hot springs soothe the soul and provide great opportunities for relaxing, camping, hiking, and more. There are plenty of waterways around Hot Springs to catch fish, and you’ll love cooking your bounty on the convection cooktop with two burners.
